I am planning on becoming a Pediatric Physical Therapist. Pediatric physical therapists are physical therapists that specialize in treating and caring for patients who are toddlers, babies, children, teenagers and young adults. They treat conditions related to genetic, neurological and orthopedic disorders. Techniques like functional training and exercise are used alongside medication and diet changes. I love working with kids so I decided I would like to do something that had to do with helping kids. I am planning on going to college at either East Tennessee Sate University which this college offers a masters degree and tuition is $23,149 to attend this school. I plan on putting my surplus in a bank account incase of any emergencys. There will be some bigger expenses I will have to pay like House payments,car payments,insurance and health insurance. I would like to work anywhere here in Greeneville or Knoxville, I would prefer any children’s hospital.I’ve always enjoyed children so my plans are to help them achieve many things in life. I used to look at becoming a nurse or going into the child protective sevices but, I researched here in career class and saw the money diffrences between them and decided I wanted to become a Pedactric Physical Theripist. Becoming a physical therapist requirs a pediatric physical therapist needs a Doctor of Physical Therapy, which typically takes three years to earn. Physical therapists must know the human body inside and out, although there is a heavy focus on the musculoskeletal and nervous systems. You will study the anatomy and physiology of nerves and learn how bones, ligaments, tendons and muscles work together to produce movement in a course called
