Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu a way of life Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu a remedy that instills confidence and promotes healthy habits in order to stay young and fit for a long time. It is a sport that was developed in Japan during and adopted in Brazil as a form of self-defense empowering those with smaller bodies being able to defend themselves from bullies and thieves. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu keeps oneself healthy with the diet you have to follow when practicing. Most people that started training BJJ only thought of it as just a way of getting a quick fix on defending yourself, but it has proven that it does more than teaching one to defend themselves, it has plenty more benefits that not only the eye can see, but what the individual would feel and learn during the course of training. BJJ is not an easy sport to master hence one would need physical and mental fitness in order to achieve. BJJ would drill you to be patient and be a goal getter no matter what obstacles you might endure during training. One would learn to embrace his/her weaknesses and learn how to turn them into strengths. …show more content…

In its own way Jiu-Jitsu isn’t just a sport it a way of living, it engraves discipline in you as I have noticed how it changed my friend for better. With BJJ one learns to push him/herself even harder and with BJJ you will definitely notice that power of working
