Recommended: A list of causes and effects to bullying in schools

PBLA Part One Throughout history, bullying has impacted the world mainly in a negative way. Bullying has been around for as long as I remember; however, throughout elementary school I do not remember being informed about the negative aspects contributed to bullying. Although, I have not faced bullying head to head, I have witnessed many of my friends and family members become victims of bullying. Throughout the years I have companied my friends and families at funeral homes because a loved one committed suicide from bullying. So, therefore, I hope this paper will inspire you and provide you with knowledge about preventing bullying.

Therefore, it is important to educate students about warning signs of bullying, which could possibly save someone’s life. “Children become depressed, has difficulty eating, sudden loss of friends, decreased self esteem, self-destructive behavior, and unexplained injuries are signs a child is being bullied” (). However, there are many aspects that help individuals determine if a child is the bully: aggression towards others, blaming others for their mishaps, and becomes physical with others. Although, bullying gets looked over at times, these steps will help administrators, students, and staff determine the bullies and the victims. The media plays a huge role in teaching children about the world they live in, which has developed cruelly. Technology can turn from good to bad in the matter of minutes.
