Change the Drinking Age to Eighteen

Turning eighteen means so many things, it legally means you’re an adult. Being an adult means you can stay out pass twelve, buy lottery tickets, and buy tobacco products. Now that you’re eighteen can’t you purchase and drink alcohol? Nope not in America, in the United States you have to be twenty-one to purchase and drink alcohol. This law needs to change, the drinking age should be eighteen not twenty-one. If a person is accounted for their actions, can serve their country, and could even lower the percentage of underage drinking wouldn’t you vote for the legal drinking age to be lowered to eighteen? “Turning eighteen means you have to accept legal responsibilities that perhaps you didn’t have to think about before. Let’s take a look at other countries that have lower drinking age. There are over 200 countries that allow people under twenty-one to drink. I got to interview someone close to me that got to go over to Germany and was allowed to drink beer and alcohol. Kevin Jenkins, 17, went to Germany to visit his mother and almost every food stop and restaurant offered him a beer.
