Date Rape Drugs The problem with going to clubs these days is that you have to worry about creeps, and making sure you don’t get drugged by people in order for them to rape you. Date rape drugs make it easy for people to hurt other people just to get sex because they had a traumatic childhood, mental problems, or have self-esteem issue. The significance of this drug is that people are getting drugged and having no idea about, making it affect their everyday life afterwards. Many people act like they know what date rape drugs are, but in reality they don’t. People think alcohol isn’t a date rape drug, but in fact it is. Reasoning is because you have no control of what you do or what to think when you’re under the influence. There’s a statistic about 55% females and 75% males in acquaintance to rape have admitted to been drinking or using drugs at the time. The most common date rape drugs you have to worry about are Rohypnol< known as roofies. Also theres Hydroxybutyric, known as acid or liquid ecstasy. There’s much more, but these are the most popular. One maybe that they had a traumatic childhood. Their mom or dad could possibly have been physically abused. Therefor effecting there way of thinking. Making them think when there older it’s okay to do to the same to others. They have all that anger and pain in them, and they try to take it out on others. When they abuse them it doesn’t have to be all physical it could also be verbal. Verbal abuse hurts the same amount as physical. So many parents these days don’t know how to raise the next generation, making them think it’s okay to hurt others in so many ways. The kids always blame themselves for the abuse when it’s not their fault. It’s the abusers fault. If it was their parents they could have possibly got abused also by their parents, so they think it’s okay to abuse their own kids since they were raised that
