Electric cars or internal combustion engine cars; which one is better? Electric cars were in their prime back in the early 1900’s, but a sudden rise in petrol engine cars, alongside with battery technology issues killed electric cars by 1920. However, with new improvements in battery technology and power electronics, electric cars have resurfaced. I will compare these different technologies, and come to understand which one is better. The only difference comes in the fact that in electric vehicles, they have more of them which are used to power the engine. Electric cars are entirely charged by the electricity you provide, which means you don’t need to buy gas again. Driving cars that need gas can burn a hole in your pocket. You’ll be saving not only yourself, but also your family a huge amount of money. The downside to Electric cars is the fact that these cars are limited by distance and speed. Most of these can only travel up to about 50 to 100 miles without being charged. You just can’t use them for long distant travel as of now, although it is expected to improve in future.
