“There must be something in books, something we can’t imagine, to make a woman stay in a burning house; there must be something there. You don’t stay for nothing.” - Fahrenheit 451 Do you wonder about the life of decades future? I do, all the time; Imagine a world where robots do all the work, a peaceful time without war or in contrary, a world with endless wars. If you are like me, I'm positive that you will enjoy Ray Bradbury's works. In each story, whether short or long, you will get dragged into a new world.

One of the most famous work by Bradbury, "Fahrenheit 451" is set in a world where reading a book is banned by law and "Firemen” burn books instead of putting out fires. This book is not any other books you read before, the title itself prove the point. As I opened the book excitedly, one of the first things my eyes processed was the tagline, "Fahrenheit 451: The temperature at which book-paper catches fire, and burns”. Since before actually reading the story, I was hooked deeply into the world of Fahrenheit 451 and couldn't stop reading it until its very end. This book got stuck in my head even long after finishing the book; There were themes discussed in the book I couldn't stop thinking about, including censorship, ignorance, life, death and more. …show more content…

We are the generation who spend most of our time looking at our phones liking people's post on social media. Unless it is required, many stopped reading books and even if it’s required, they rather read summaries of the book to prepare for the exams. I believe that Fahrenheit 451 is a must-read book for every generation; It makes us reflect on the dangers of restriction of freedom of speech by the technology. After reading Bradbury books, you'll realize that world of Fahrenheit 451 can be our future, a world of
