Although nothing is certain, as of now I envision myself majoring in Film Production. My passion for film had not fully developed until I was abroad last year in Spain, where I became a campus videographer for my program. Upon returning home, I asked the supervisor of my internship if I could potentially do something with film for the summer, and I was placed with the AV Services department. This opportunity not only allowed me to record and edit videos but also introduced me to the basics of coding as I had to design the web pages on which the videos would be posted. In under a year, I had experimented with three video editing programs and satisfied my curiosity for coding. Ultimately, this is how I want to approach my education and pursue my academic interests at Penn— by being open-minded, proactive, and motivated in everything I do. …show more content…
