These activist helped form laws that are more accepting towards gays and their rights. However, in a country that is ever changing and tolerating, the citizens find a way to divide and isolate their fellow Americans. This alienation has it’s reasonings, whether it is political, religious, or some other reasons. However, these social injustices are wrong, every person in the U.S. has their rights, one in particular is from being discriminated against. In the U.S. there are laws that prevent anyone from discriminating against another person baised race, religion, and/or their sexuality. CONTROVERSY.
Religious Reasoning. Gay rights has always been an issue with many people in America, some people do not think that two people of the same sex should be allowed to marry one another, whether it is because of religious reasoning or not. Being discriminated against can cause a person mental problems and can cause many other problems as well. The social issues with this need to stop for the mental health of our future. Some people hide who they are because of the fear of discrimination, this is wrong and anyone and everyone deserves to be who they are without having to hide it. Thes social discrimination needs to stop because no one deserves to be discriminated against and everyone deserves their human born rights.
