There were many great leaders during World War 2. Adolf Hitler was the German leader who played a big role in the war. He was the leading cause of this historical disaster and lead to many unneeded deaths and casualties. Chancellor Hitler endured a difficult childhood and education while becoming a powerful chancellor who created the Jewish Ghettos and developed many inventions.
Inventions
Adolf Hitler was a politician and a mediocre inventor. The blow up sex doll appears to have been his only invention. The sex dolls was suppose to discourage German troops from sleeping with disease ridden French prostitutes. The Nazi scientists and engineers, who worked for Hitler, developed numerous new weapon systems during the WW2, ranging from the first assault rifle and the first combat Jet (Messerschmitt Me 26) to the first cruise missile (V-1) and rocket-powered ballistic missile (V-2). He dropped out early because he did not care for the critique he received from his teachers. He continued to paint outside of school and currently there is a collection of his paintings and drawings that are going up for auction in Germany. His artwork includes watercolor of houses, castles, countryside scenes, and town squares. Supposedly, this art will sell for a good price (Robinson p2).
Chancellor
In 1933, President Paul von Hindenburg named Adolf Hitler Chancellor of the National Socialist German Workers Party (Nazi Party). Hitler’s rise to power came quickly. The German people were frustrated with the dismal economic conditions, horrible living conditions due to WWI, and the terms of the Versailles treaty. The charismatic Hitler took the discontent citizens and turned them into supporting Nazi citizens. In an election held in July 1932, the Nazis won 230 governmental seats. The Nazi party became the second largest governmental party making up over half of the Reichstag.(History.com p1).
