Squash is a vegetable from the Cucurbitaceae family. But, it is mostly considered as a fruit because of its seeds. Squash is one of the largest categories of foods. Squash is mostly used in salad making. It can as well be added to stew, meat, soup, and can be baked or cooked.
However, there are different varieties of squash; summer, winter, Hubbard, spaghetti, acorn, butter nut, zucchini, delicata, Patty pat, yellow crookneck, and tromboncino.
