Honduras, not much is known about it except the fact that it is close to Mexico. If you know a bit of geography you would know that it is located in Central America and no bigger than Indiana. What is shown about the country is its poverty, somewhat corrupt government and the people.When you only see what lies on the outside you will never begin to imagine what waits for you on the inside. For one to understand what truly lies in Honduras they must venture forth on an experience of a lifetime.

Honduras is its own unique person having a different personality and look much different from the United States. When night time hits you must be inside before six if you wish to stay safe and out of jail. Late at night you can hear what sounds to be gunshots in the distance and it is frightening.
Layout of the land is much different than that of the U.S. Architectural structures are much different in appearance. Typically painted in bright colors the houses in Honduras have much more character than the homes we find in the United States. You can not look past the fact that this is not the case for everyone in Honduras, some homes are made out of appliances you could find at a lows and are typically built on hillsides surrounding each other. Some areas of the country are struck with poverty that may never be cured and all people do is stare. Animal shelters usually have plenty of dogs to choose from that are rehabilitated and healthy. Honduras is home to many dogs that should be in animal shelters they are all abandoned and seen roaming the streets and sidewalks looking for food. Owners don’t take the lives of their animals into consideration and typically get them while they are puppies, they then release them when they are all grown up and no longer
