This book gives you an inside look while in a child's perspective of what it looked like it didn't seem like anything to him but to his parents it was almost as bad as the world ending his college found was gone . his parents used the money to try and make the more expensive payments. They may have achieved their “ american dream” for a short time until it came crashing down . unlike gatsby there dream was attainable and realistic but the day and age they were in made it harder for them
