Candidate’s interest in public service:
The decisions for those of us who have decided to dedicate their lives to public service have made commitments to this effect for many reasons. For me, the inspiration to do so began around eight o’clock in the morning of September 11, 2001. At the time that I began to experience this realization, I was not exactly sure as to what I could do to help improve the situation. However, I knew instinctively that it was time for me to do something worthy, be a part of something bigger than myself.

However, after spending few years in uniform, I cultivated an acute interest in fields as the Regional Security Complex (RSC), security dilemma, states sponsor of terrorism and anything related to religious or ethnic groups’ motivations in applying great violence upon innocent populations with total disregard for the value of human lives, but only to find a leverage and vindication.
Consequently, several weeks into my last semester at the University of Miami, couple faculties suggested me to apply to Princeton University and/or the University of Pennsylvania (Upenn). The University of Pennsylvania admission committee admitted my candidacy in a Master in Public Administration (MPA) at the Fels Institute of Government.
I believe in the American Dream, I am a living proof of it. Both my maternal and paternal side have seen the worst in humanity; many perished under the Ottoman Empire between 1915 and 1917 as well as under the Nazi regime between 1941 and 1944.
