“Age doesn’t define maturity. Some people will never grow up” it doesn’t matter what age you are either you grow up or don’t. several characters changed throughout the book but jem changed the most because he learned to mature as an adult. First of all, jem changes the most because in the beginning of the novel jem is characterized as a kid who doesn’t focus on the adult world and continues to bother people who want to be left alone and stay away from drama.
