It is a great honor to be considered for membership in the National Honor Society. Since I was a sophomore, my ambition was to study diligently to be amongst the highest students and to be accepted into this scholastic "hall of fame". Getting considered indicates that I have met my goal of exhibiting my thrive and willingness to assist people in my community, so becoming a part of this distinguished institution is a huge responsibility to which I will commit my whole attention. Furthermore, I would be around people that share my desire to progress academically, and thus would drive me to maintain my academic rigor and continue to grow and learn as a student. Participating in a community service activity has always been something I wanted to do, and the National Honor Society would give me more opportunities to help my community and make it a better place. Aside from studying diligently, I also participate in extracurricular activities. Before joining Frontier, I used to do traditional dance in my home country since I was 6 years old. The experience I gained from the years of dancing allowed me to choreograph a dance routine for school when I was 13 years old . This opportunity allowed me to refine my leadership and organizational skills. I took upon the challenge and I was able to come up with a creative story through music and movement. This dance routine was for 3rd graders, and it became a major supervising role where I had to work independently yet work together in a team to make our routine a more unique and pleasant moment for everyone. I made sure I spent hours putting together dance pieces and teaching the dancers the arrangement which wasn’t a simple task since they were so young. The task was challenging both physically and mentally, but it taught me to stay optimistic and open-minded. I consider myself a brilliant scholar because I strive for perfection. I strive to be the best in all I do. In terms of effort, I fill my schedule with the most demanding classes I can manage.
