Vision Art has been part of our daily lives. We use art to express ourselves, to interact and delight others, to contour imperfections and lots; I can’t mention. It has many forms: performing arts, mosaic, sculpture, pottery, photography, painting and drawing. Drawing is the first step in every art form; we draw to plan for the next step (Peterson). Some artists draw or sketch first to have a guide of their desired sculpture but others find beauty in a drawing’s simpleness. Mandala is an example of a drawing, drawn to a medium particularly paper. Hence mandala reflects many beliefs, I was amazed by its meaning and its attractiveness.
Mandala is defined by a Buddhist as a circle of blessings and in Sanskrit it means sacred circle. Since Asians hold many beliefs, they also recognize it as a circle in communicating with God. Others use it for meditating and examining oneself (The Mandala Lady, “What are Mandalas?”). I created my own mandala through the posted images in the internet as my inspiration. I researched on how to start and make one. The designs I used are based on nature. Mandala is a circular art work that’s used principally for meditation for the Buddhists. Every detail of it symbolizes an important thing. It also reflects many beliefs and culture (Warta). I created my mandala by starting at the center and easily adding every detail according to my theme. The flowers, leaves and other nature-like symbols conclude the theme of nature, the buildings for arising technology and an eye for humanity’s vision. Design and color combinations are also important to finish with an astonishing and jaw-dropping mandala. Getting inspirations online could be of great help but a mandala would be better if it reflects your true self and your own
