Most things have a slow start and then quickly develop into something that is ever changing. Cable and Internet are two mass communication pieces developing at lightning speeds, with no sign of slowing down. You may ask yourself what both communication styles have in common, and the answer is easy. They both had grew lightyears beyond their beginnings quickly and had a large impact on every generation before. We started with dialup internet taking over the family home and using our kids as remotes - each item was a rarity to own and now, as the tables have turned, is a rarity to not. As the technology has changed, so has the development of news outlets, information sharing, influencing, and purchasing.
