Some states, localities, and large restaurant chains were already doing their own forms of menu labeling, but this information was not consistent across the areas where it was implemented. Calorie information will now be required on menus and menu boards in chain restaurants and on certain vending machines. this seems to be outrageous, because if these foods do not have the correct amount of nutrients and protiens, then there would be labs that would have to test every single item on their menu and if there is one thing on the menu then they have to recompose the structure to get it to the right amount of nutrients. To encourage healthier food choices for children in fast-food restaurants, many ideas have been proposed. This study aimed to study the effect of including nutritional information on parents' meal choices for their children at fast-food restaurants public interest has increased in children's food consumption at fast-food restaurants. Fast foods are well known as being higher-calorie and less-nutritive foods and fast-food consumption has been linked to higher caloric intake and greater risk for obesity. the nutrition facts arent that hard to get, but the fact is that the government is making such a big deal about such a little thing like nutritional facts. if the ingredients that were listed that would be okay, because someone might be allergic to the ingredients, but that is for safety purposes, on the other hand the government is trying to force fast food restaurants to include nutritional facts. this is something that should not be necessicary, but the government believes that it should be a thing that is in every restaurant in the United States Of
