Music Producing “There is more than six hundred jobs that people can pick for the career of music producing” (Indeed). Music producing is a career where the person that is producing has to stay relevant to succeed. The career of music producing is full of long hours and hard work. In the pursuance of becoming a music producer, knowledge of the career, places of employment, degree/training, internships, experience and college are required. The job is not just pleasing what the artist/singer/rapper wants. It is also about the quality of the music. The quality of the music is the selling point of the product. Without the quality, music would stay the same and a percent of people would lose interest in the music. Without the people the music sales with just flop. The next part of the career is the salary. “A Music Producer gets an average salary of $28,000-$188,000” (Indeed). The amount of money made depends on where and with who someone is working. When someone works for a big label with fewer people, they will make a lot more money than if they worked for a big company. Besides the salary, the work environment is huge part of the career. “A producer working steadily is frequently under a lot of pressure, especially during rehearsals and recording sessions, when high priced talent is tied up and the producer must produce dramatic result within a limited amount of time” (IResearchNet). The Berklee campus is located at “1126 Boylston Street, Massachusetts” (Berklee). Berklee is a private school. Private schools in general are expensive just in elementary school through high school. But with college, it is a different story. Most of the time, it is about two or three times more expensive than the first 12 years of school. The total number of students is “6,405 at the school in 2016” (Berklee). Obviously, the school size itself seems small for the standard college size. But it is actually a pretty big school mostly because of the size of the buildings. “63 percent of the school is male while that other 37 percent is female” (Berklee). Even though there is a bigger number of boys than girls, both of them have the same chances as the other. The most interesting for the students is what surrounds Berklee. Around Berklee, there is a lot of different high-rated restaurants and stores. The degrees Berklee has is “bachelor and masters degree” (Berklee). For an on-campus experience, it will cost “$61,473.50 to $67,213.50” (Berklee). Those costs are just the housing/education for on-campus.
