My Ideal American Dream
Christina Saralegui once said “To realize the American Dream, the most important thing to understand is that it belongs to everybody. It’s a human dream. If you understand this and work very hard, it’s possible.”
Everyone has dreams. Everyone has goals. Those who put their dreams and goal to the test and do not give up until they get there, well those are the ones who will achieve their American Dream.
Everyone has different goals. Some goals are extraordinary, while some may just be basic to others. Your goals in life are your goals and your goals only. I know it will take many college years and degrees. I want to gather my education for my career at one of my top pick colleges. My dream college is Mizzou where I can major in the Pre-Medicine department. Mizzou can be a difficult and expensive school to get into if I don’t have good enough test scores for somethings, especially scholarships. If my Mizzou dream fails, I hope to attend Missouri State- Springfield or Missouri Southern State University. Maybe I’ll even follow in my parents, sister, and aunt and uncle’s footsteps and attend college in Cape Girardeau at Southeast Missouri State University. It will be a long path. Who knows, in the future I might even change my mind, but right now I am passionate about what I plan to do with my future.
Although many people dream of families, I don’t dream of a family young. I want to make sure my career is on solid ground before settling down and trying to support others financially before I can even support myself. A family will forever be a goal of mine. A happy, loving husband and two kids. I know you can’t pick your kids in order but if I could I would chose to have a boy first and then a girl. I dream of kids, a husband, and a big dream house far away from Ava,
