My Vision for America My vision for the future America is less air pollution. Air pollution needs to be reduced because it kills 7 million or more people a year globally, 80 percent of them from heart disease and stroke. Also, Air pollution destroys and damages 5 billion dollars’ worth a year of crops and trees. To add to that last point, people, on average can go 3 weeks without food, 3 days without water, but the average person can only go barely 3 minutes without air before severe brain damage and death. Finally, air pollution causes Global warming, which mainly comes from factories and vehicular pollution. Overall Air Pollution is horrible and needs to be reduced or eliminated. To Start, Air Pollution kills the environment such as trees, crops, wildlife, lakes and other bodies of water. Those pollutants can also harm fish and other aquatic life. As a matter of fact it kills more than 5 billion dollars’ worth of crops a year, over 1 million seabirds and 100,000 sea mammals are killed by pollution every year, and kills over 300,000 land mammals a year.
