In my opinion Ohio State University has the absolutely best sports teams in college. One of my favorite parts of The Ohio State University sports teams is the Ohio State football team. Their football team is unrivaled, second to none, because they have won eight NCAA national championships, also 41 conference championships, 10 division championships, and 10 undefeated seasons etc. (1) Next is Ohio State's men’s Basketball team. They have won one national championship, have been national runner up four times, appeared in 10 final fours, furthermore appeared in 27 NCAA tournaments etc. (2) And lastly is men’s wrestling, they have won one NCAA championship, with 5 consecutive top three NCAA team finishes, as well as 11 top eight finishes in

Football dates back all the way to 1869, Ohio State's football team played its first season in 1890, and first game on may 3 1890. Ohio State won 2 conference championships while in the OAC (Ohio Athletic Conference) in 1912. They won their first national championship in 1942, and from then they have racked up another 7 national championships . In 1951 Ohio State hired Woody Hayes, also under him they won 205 games, 5 national championships, 13 big ten conference championships, along with 8 rose bowl appearances. Not to mention the finest coach following Woody is Urban Meyer in my opinion. Urban's first year he went undefeated 12-0, 24 consecutive victories, won three big ten championships, including winning the first college football playoff national championship. In my judgment football has the best jerseys.This is why Ohio State has the best football team. With the Ohio State football team being the best, they have to have the best jerseys in the whole BIG TEN. My personal favorite is their alternate jersey. It is black, scarlet red, and white (alt jersey). My second favorite jersey is the color jersey. Its colors are scarlet red, gray, and white it is their original jersey (color jersey). My least favorite jersey is their white jersey. It is bland compared to the other ones. In 1920 The Ohio State University launched their very own wrestling team, their best year was in 2015 when Tom ryan was the coach they won the National championship. Ohio State also has some great wrestlers some include, Perry Martter, Harry Steel, Wayne Holmes, Mark Coleman, and, Kyle Snyder all of these men went on to be olympians. Sadly only 2 out of the 5 were gold medalists, those men were Harry Steel, Kyle Snyder, Harry Steel won in 1924 as a freestyle lightweight, and Kyle Snyder won in 2016 as a freestyle 97 kg or 213.848 pounds. And lastly with the wrestling jersey’s they don't have a for sure jersey they pick anything, black, scarlet red, white, and gray.
