Benefits of Parliamentary Procedure It is very difficult to communicate and accomplish tasks quickly and efficiently when there is not a common language. By using proper parliamentary procedure, you are providing numerous benefits to your members and your meetings. Let’s take a moment to identify what some of these benefits are. Encourage the large group to give short, rapid responses about the benefits of using proper parliamentary procedure. Write these responses on the flip chart. Then, share or reiterate the following benefits. 1. Parliamentary procedure provides you with a framework for your meetings. It is a universal language that can be understood by all members. 2.
