Perceptions of Race and Ethnicity Quick History / Define Many ethnic groups experience a form of prejudice, with many minority groups encountering discrimination in their lives. Prejudice is ideas about the characteristics of a group that is applied to all members of that group and unlikely to change regardless of evidence against.
