On April 16, Steve Stevens killed Robert Goodwin Sr. 74 on Facebook. Robert had been shot at random. In the minute long video on Facebook, Stevens pulls up close to Goodwin and asks him to say a name, then pulls a gun and shoots Goodwin. Afterward, the victim can be seen lying on the sidewalk with a streak of what appeared to be blood near his head. The police chief of Cleveland pleaded to Steven to turn himself in. The shooting sparked a man hunt that extended four states across the northeast. Before the shooting Stevens was seen holding an ID card from a mental health clinic where he claimed to be a case manager in the video. He also, had claimed he killed 15 people which weren’t true. It was only two day after the crime occurred it was a meal from McDonald’s that tripped him up. The search Mr. Stephens had spread across a wide area of the country with thousands of tips flowing in. But, he ended his life in Erie, Pennsylvania about hundred miles from where the crime occurred. Driving a white Ford Fusion sedan, Mr. Stephens pulled into the drive through of a local McDonald’s around 11 a.m. and bought a 20 piece chicken nugget and a large order of fries. Henry Sayers, the store manager recognized him and tried holding him up by saying his fries weren’t ready. While doing so, the store was calling the police, but Stephens calmly took off because he had to go he said. The police chased Stephens for about a mile when one of the officers made him lose control of his car. As the car spun to a stop Stephens pulled out a gun and shot himself in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Stephens with no prior criminal record, left investigators with no good explanation for the story of why he killed Mr. Goodwin. In the video, he said he was looking for someone to kill and he chose Goodwin at
