Any activity which is repeated over a long period becomes a powerful force even if there is not much accomplished by each separate activity. That small amount of time when compounded over time, there are huge differences that result, but these results depend on whether there have been changes in activities. In China, capitalism sprouts were economic features of the 16th and 18th centuries characterized with a class society where upper class grabbed the surplus created by the low class through labor power for their one luxurious consumptions and to fight each other. They come up with notions that are described as fundamental paradoxes that they defend in a bid to protect the dying reformist policies. People will be more willing to fight for the system that protects those who die or suffer without it presently as opposed to allowing harm on them for future gain. This is referred to as pessimism of time which Nina argues strongly that it is often exhausting and arouses feelings of disappointment due to lack of new theoretical positions and ideas that can give confidence to the futurists ( Power, 2018). This entirely narrows down to the ability of people to do socially profitable things presently and question the ability of more positive ideologies doing even better in future as compared to what currently consumes our time and ourselves. The continuity of capitalism in China hinders the fundamental changes that may have taken place in the country’s political system. It has been inevitable to question the relationship between social change and historical perspectives of time. Time discipline has been a kind of notion created that has over the years been turned into a paradox of which has been received well by capitalist whose perspective was entirely based on economic considerations. To a great extent, the time has been regarded a problem in sociology hence the coordination of time must be done inter-subjectively. Future time perspectives have always been a more problematic area when it comes to clarity and precision (Kristen, 2011). It is difficult and almost impossible to get consistent results in regards to the issue optimism in the future time. Future orientation in time is presumptuous and often inappropriate in the application of specific patterns. Sociologists argue that the frustrations of time and the problematic features of time in the society are better understood when people try to determine individual needs and demands that are varied in nature (Maynes, 1995). This has been partially blamed to the fact that the perspectives on future time have not been sufficiently visited hence differentiation and complete comprehension has not been done.
