Having dedication with everything you do can be hard and confusing. People find it hard to dedicate themselves to some things but in the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, Romeo doesn’t seem to have a problem dedicating himself to Juliet. Romeo has a strong love and dedication to Juliet which is keeping him from focusing on things he should be focusing on, like me in which I over dedicate myself to one thing and it keeps me from focusing on other things. Romeo spends 5 extremely long days fantasizing over Juliet and committing and doing everything in his power for her. Romeo is part of a Capulet family where Juliet is a Montague, they are two huge gang families who both resent each other and are constantly at “war.” This becomes one of Romeo’s biggest challenges as he is dedicated to being with Juliet and will do anything to stay with her. Juliet is what gets him into a lot of drama and trouble as he is going to extended heights to be with her. Romeo was so dedicated that he took his own life for Juliet to be with her. “Depart again: here, here will I remain. With worms that are thy chamber-maids; O, here. He is with her for his last words, last breath, and last kiss, if that doesn’t show dedication then nothing should or nothing does.
