By having such a diverse staff, this committee provides different perspectives in order to cover every situation and every case possible. For example, some of the signs of sex trafficking are isolation and control by the pimps. Because of the diversity of the staff, this committee is able to recognize signs of sex trafficking all over the state. Aside from efforts by the government, hundreds of coalition groups are working to raise awareness about sex trafficking and help the general public understand what they can do to help. For example, The Force is a hospitality group that travels to various hotels and motels to train hotel employees on to how to recognize signs of sex trafficking. This is especially beneficial because many sex trafficking incidents occur at hotels. In The Force’s Year-End Report, they describe the current state of sex trafficking perfectly:

In fact, there will always be work to do until sex trafficking, the modern day form of slavery, is something of the past. In order to completely eradicate sex trafficking, every single individual needs to be cognizant of the issue. Citizens need to be aware of the signs of sex trafficking, the prevalence of the issue, and that anybody can be trafficked. It is not just young females dressed in revealing clothes who put themselves out there; it can be young boys and older men, young girls and older women who are trafficked as well. If citizens are unable to recognize the signs of sex trafficking, the crime will continue to occur
