Malala used to live in Pakistan before she got shot in the head by the Taliban. Malala went to an all girls school in Swat Valley Pakistan. Her dad had owned that school for almost a decade. On October 9, 2012 on Malala’s way home from school just like any other ordinary day, she was on a school bus. When she was on the school bus the Taliban came up and shot her in the face because she was an activist about girls should have equal rights. For example, going to school, not being consider in the lower class. Malala was then transferred to a hospital in England, where she had to have surgery on her face. Malala did not stop being an activist after the Taliban shot her. She still gave courage to many people even when she was still in the hospital.
