The Atrocity A boring plot, a pathetic ending, a gay couple. I believe you should not read this book if: you value your faith, or enjoy intelligent novels. I believe if a person chooses to neglect their faith or intelligence they have abandoned some of the most basic values of human life. Without knowledge or faith our world would be thrust into darkness, because at the root of our society we all rely on our faith or knowledge or possibly both. Also, on the subject of faith if we disobey God’s laws we abandon our right to live, and without the right to live, we have no purpose.The unprofessional quality of this paper, and the unexciting content make it a pointless read, but the three main reasons you should not read this atrocity are it is one of the most vanilla and boring novels to …show more content…

First of all, Mateo dies while making tea for his new “lover” Rufus. In addition, He forgets his own stove is broken, and it explodes in his face and he is incinerated. If that wasn't enough, Rufus tries to save him when he had already been called by Death-Cast which automatically makes him dead. Even more, if Death-cast had never called Mateo he would have never met Rufus to make tea for him. So that makes this whole book pointless in the fact that the warner of death is also the cause of death. Interestingly, after thorough research I have come to the conclusion that Rufus and Mateo may both be caught in a “time loop”, which is caused by intense anxiety then Deja Vu, and if they are, in fact, then this whole book is a memory, and has a much deeper meaning in that they have only imagined their deaths, and Rufus and Mateo have lived more than 24 hours which is impossible according to every other record of a Decker by the mark of their gravestones. In conclusion, the death of Mateo is very poorly written, and if he is in fact not deceased then the story is not over and this is only
