The united states system of government has three branches of government that have different roles in governing society. The Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches of government are all powerful at different times and different situations.
The legislative branch is made up of the two houses of Congress: The Senate and the House of Representatives. There are 100 senators in the Senate, two from each state and there are 435 representatives in the House of Representative, based on each state population. This is false because the executive branch can create executive orders that have as much as power as any law passed by congress. Executive orders do not require approval of congress to perform this order and have the same weight as laws pass by Congress. According to the website, ThisNation.com it states that, “The President 's source of authority to issue Executive Orders can be found in the Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution which grants to the President the "executive Power." Section 3 of Article II further directs the President to "take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed." To implement or execute the laws of the land, Presidents give direction and guidance to Executive Branch agencies and departments, often in the form of Executive Orders.” Executive orders allow the president to make major decisions even considering law without the acceptance of Congress. This goes against the principle idea of the Constitution that no one has the power to act single handed.
