In 1978, Larry Hicks was convicted on two counts of murder and was sentence to death. At 19 years old, Hicks was attending a local party at a neighbor’s apartment. At the party Hicks was spotted waving a knife and it raised awareness by the attendees. As the party continued a fight broke out in the apartment and two men were murdered by severe stabbing with a knife. When law enforcement officials rushed to the crime scene, eyewitness testimony declared Hicks and Bernard Scates as a primary suspects.
Andrew Mallard is a British-born Australian living in Western Australia. Andrew was new to the town when he was suspected of murdering Pamela Lawrence on May 23rd, 1994. They had thought it would be a adequate family to steal money from. When they were unable to find the money they were looking for the decided to kill them in anger and left most of the family dead. They were motivated to do so because they wanted revenge on everybody who had treated them poorly in their young and adult lives.

When he eventually got bored of walking the hallways killing anyone in sight, he thought that there would be a big shootout, where he would commit suicide by cop. Realizing that the police officers were not really shooting or approaching them in any way, he decided to commit suicide without the help of the cops. Dick Hickock did not have an actual motive for the Clutter family murder. Throughout the planning, Dick never really worked to earn his money. He manipulated a few stores by telling them inaccurate stories so the purchases he was making would seem believable, then he would sell the items to a pawn shop.
It’s Sunday and it’s the Clutter’s funeral. School is cancelled so all of the kids may go to the funeral. Over a thousand people attend the Clutter funeral. As Susan Kidwell stood there and stared at her best friend, Nancy Clutter, she couldn’t help herself from crying.

The life and murder of Jessica Lunsford, was a very senseless crime that never should have happened in the first place. This 9yr old little girl granted didn’t have a very good childhood but to some kids it was better that she could ever get, I feel for this kid! Her mom and separated and cannot get alone even if they tried too. Now have to mourn the death of their beloved daughter Jessica, because of a man who nothing else better to do but prey on young kids and can’t keep his hands to himself.
The Villisca Axe Murder House The Villisca Murder House is a very popular house. It is located in the small midwestern town Villisca, Iowa. The name “Axe Murder House” comes from the fact that murder victims were killed by an axe. In fact, there is even a mark on one of the walls from an axe.
Should the alleged killers serve the death penalty? "Our state provides that the punishment for murder in the first degree shall be imprisonment for life or death by hanging." (193). The killing of the Clutter family is an uncompromising action for the populace to accept. It was a despicable act used only for the gaining of wealth and therefore should be punished by the highest degree.
