This can cause post traumatic stress disorder. Usually these peoples lives have been threatened or someone close to them have been threatened. Children with PTSD will show intense fear, helplessness, anger and sadness,but there are many more signs of PTSD. Children will also try to avoid things that remind them of the situation.
