Sometimes, friendships can be tricky, like between Luciana and Rosaura in the short story The Stolen Party by Liliana Heker. Rosaura believes that Luciana and her are great friends but if you asked Luciana, she wouldn’t agree. Even though some people might say the theme is fake friends are obvious, I disagree because throughout the text, Rosaura doesn’t realize that Luciana isn’t actually her friend, therefore it was not obvious to her.
