The book to “To Kill A Mockingbird” by Harper Lee is an American classic. It deserves all the glory that it gets, from the way that it explains the American life in the great depression. To the great lessons that the book teaches. And then just the over all fact that the book is written really well. The book is great American literature and I feel as though everybody should read the book. The book “To Kill A Mockingbird” is a great book historical fiction book to read because its from a great perspective and it’s based off of real life. Everything about the book happend or would happen in a small town down south in the great depression. I personal enjoy reading books that are historical fiction it’s like killing two birds with one stone (no pun intended). The big lesson of the story is from this quote “It is a sin to kill and mockingbird.” Which is saying that you should pick on those who who don't do harm is a rude and not right to. This is good lesson that can be portrayed into a teens life. With all the drama and rumors that constantly go around this book and it lesson is a great reminder for teens. And not only just great for teens it’s also for adults this is even something that people go through on a daily basis. People bother other people and try to get a raise out of them to better themselves. We see this happen when Bob Ewell made allegations against Tom Robinson in the rape of his daughter Mayella Ewell. Bob just bother somebody that didn’t need to be bothered to just better himself and make Tom look like a bad person. And at the end of the story with Boo even thought what he did was defending Scout and Jem. Atticus knew that it wasn’t fair to draw attention to Boo, because that’s not who Boo
