Abstract:
Transport technology in the world is getting better and smarter that has spread to all areas of people’s life. Today, peoples are searching and looking for easier techniques, convenience and efficient ways in their life. Systems of transportation which the modern world can make traffic management better and safer. Transportation has being changed by new technologies, such as Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). This system will help to meet many challenges and demand placed on transportation system. For example, on-board diagnostics and information systems, smart cards, smarter highways, transit, logistic systems, automobiles, and so on. Advanced traffic management systems could increase road capacity significantly while improving safety and respecting other objectives. Over …show more content…

Whether and to what extent these technologies can develop into a significant element of the transportation systems will depend, however, not only on technological developments but on both public and private decisions about the technologies’ desirability and usefulness. System-wide applications and high market penetrations of new technologies are likely to have vastly different benefits and costs than the piecemeal applications that are currently proceeding.
