Recommendations to address the gap: Based on the gaps and findings that emerged from the presentation of this paper some recommendations as a way to address the identified gaps and to move forward for government and policy development in Australia include: • The national continuous professional development plan shall be standardized for trainers, teachers and other VET practitioners in Australia.
