It is my great pleasure to recommend Youstina Robil for the Doctor of Dental Surgery Program. I am writing in the capacity of her former laboratory instructor at the School of Natural and Behavioral Sciences at Brooklyn College. I first came to know Youstina academic qualifications when she enrolled in an undergraduate course, Biology 1002 Laboratory during spring of 2015. Over the duration of the semester, I have come to consider her as a committed, intelligent, creative, and caring student who showed tremendous leadership skills. I strongly recommend her as a candidate for the Doctor of Dental Surgery Program. Overall, Youstina is highly intelligent and has good analytical skills. Her independent science project demonstrated her ability to come a detailed understanding of the scientific thinking and practices. Youstina is a very creative thinker with an eye for detail, which provides her well in the sciences and beyond. Experimental design in science is one of the hardest tasks, and under such a task, Youstina was able to creatively design different experiments to test an idea. Moreover, Youstina has the ability to draw from her own experience and observation to develop a thoughtful hypothesis on a variety of issues. She proved to be a diligent and hardworking young scholar, willing to take risks in her understanding of different theories. …show more content…

Youstina has shown great effort, dedication, and commitment to her studies beyond anyone I have known. Although the academic material was difficult, geared towards learning, understanding, and applying scientific knowledge in a laboratory setting, Youstina was able to critically analyze the scientific journals accurately and apply scientific thinking throughout the course.
