In criminal justice there are rules and principles that need to be followed in order to help when in a position of having to make a difficult decision. Ethical considerations are essential when having to make decisions based on discretion, force and due process. Knowing the importance of ethics will help a person to analyze and determine whether their actions are of moral standards.
