In the Reflections section by Peter Singer in Lives of Animals, he discussed with his daughter matters of animal rights. He stated that animals do not plan or anticipate for a future, whereas humans do on a daily basis. I have concluded, after reading his piece, that Singer believes that some animals are more important than others.
