In addition, the district attorney’s office would be happy to know that there is more evidence against an intentional fraudulent individual in building a stronger case. The main concern would just be the time is would take to conclude such a case and how it may affect the status reports and an investigators case load as well. Through the deontological ethics model, we follow the procedures and add new referral allegations to our cases. We are trained to add new allegations if evidence surfaces which can affect an investigators case load; but that is our job require and ask us investigators to do. Third, through the intuitionism ethical model, I would feel morally obligated to look at every angle that a pertaining the intentions of the individual committing the crime. If the job requires for a special unit to investigate, i.e. children cases, then I would initiate children fraudulent related referrals to have a proper investigation initiated. There is confusion between what they ask investigators to do versus their verbal expectation of what they really want investigators to do. The confusion creates an issue where investigators become uncertain about their abilities to accomplish their cases relevant to their moral obligations.
