Introduction My organization XYZ school district has a little issue with ethical behaviors in the workplace. Many teachers and leaders in my organization has lost their jobs due to the following: abusing or hurting a student, having sexual relations with a student, or the leadership is embezzling money from the state. These problems have discouraged many prospective parents and students from attending our school district. XYZ school district is not the first school district that has ethical behavior issues. Unethical behaviors have plagued the school district, workplace, and business Ethics are guided behavior by identifying right, wrong, and the many shades of grey in-between. So, if we know that ethics are guided behavior by identifying right, wrong, and the many shades of grey in between, why do we participate in unethical behavior? Why do we feel satisfied with doing the wrong thing? In this case study paper, I will analyze the problem that has honestly plagued my organization XYZ school district. I will also investigate different solutions to make sure XYZ school district can keep the code of ethics throughout the school district.

A teacher who worked in their school district was arrested for having relation with a student from their school. Another employee of theirs was arrested and charged with neglect and cruelty to children. In XYZ school district, the organization has appointed a new interim superintendent who is not full-time superintendent. The organization has recently demoted the old superintendent back to her old position as director of Student Intervention and Family Support Services. The organization also let go of the assistant superintendent as well. The XYZ school district also sent out RICE letters to their employees without any notice or phone calls letting them know they may or may not have a
