Could you picture around 6 million people? Now how would you feel if all of them were killed right now? All of them being killed because they were African American or they were Mexican. The Holocaust was when the Nazi’s led by Adolf Hitler persecuted, tortured, and killed people just because they were Jewish. People were separated from their families and gassed or burned just to keep up with how many people were coming into the camp, or just to amuse themselves.
The holocaust was one of the worst genocides that has happened to one race in the last 100 years it lead to the deaths of 6 million to 17 million jews. There are not that many people still alive that got saved for it because of the exprempit they were put through the time they were in the camps dieing. One of many ways the nazis killed so many jews was gas chambers and pizza type ovens they had mounds of people from the gas chambers piled up in the millions. When they got saved they had to did massov graves and use a bulldozer to get all the bodys in to the grave. In the book Night by Elie Wiesel there are many instes of dehumanizing for example they had to be put in to the cattle cars.
Since the Holocaust, the United Nations have made sure to let everyone throughout the world have equal rights. This mass killing of Jews violated every right that they had. They were beaten to death, shot on spot, starved, poorly clothed, et cetera. No one deserves the harsh treatment that they got throughout World War II. Nearly six million Jews died during this regime of a Nazi leader named Hitler.
The first reason the Holocaust should be considered an act of genocide is; The United Nations, Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, explains genocide whether in war or time of peace, that it is illegal under international law, which they will use to stop and to discipline (United Nations 1). The memoir Night by Elie Wiesel, presents how inhumane the Holocaust was to Jews. Wiesel states, “ How was it possible that men, women, and children were being burned and that the world kept silent?” (Wiesel 32). These quotes are important because, they explicitly state how the Holocaust is an act of genocide, and the definition of genocide.
The holocaust was not just about the slaughtering of jews is about riding the world of its imperfections. According to Hitler these “imperfections” included being jewish, having anything but blonde hair and blue eyes, being handicapped mentally or physically, or being homosexual. The Holocaust is one of the darkest times in history. The Holocaust was started by Hitler, defining people if they were Jewish, part Jewish, or Aryan. Little did these people know that it would get a lot worse for Jewish people after a few years. In a few years innocent people were being sent to gas chambers just for being Jewish.

All states have their own propositions on education that fit their economy.

The holocaust was a destructive event caused by Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party, which created the death of not just Jews but Gypsies and homosexual. Germany 's allies known as Japan and Italy, including other nations, took little action towards the persecutions and had an inadequate response, due to various reasons. During 1944, Japan and Italy collected more detailed and frightful information on the mass killing of the Jews inside the concentration camps and series of tragedy that happened, which is an addition to why little action was taken from the allies and the countries.
The Holocaust is a time in history when millions of people were persecuted in Europe by being sent to live in ghettos and eventually being deported to concentration camps where they were systematically annihilated until the Allied forces liberated the remaining survivors. The Jews were moved to the ghettos, because Hitler pushed the Jews to move to the east, then they concore move of the east and move them more to the east. Then “there was no more room for them to move to the east, so they built ghettos for them to live” (Byers 32). But his true intentions were to “separate the Jewish people from manly Germans and also other races” (Allen 37).
The Holocaust was a horrific tragedy which started in January of 1933 and ended in May of 1945, the Holocaust was the mass murder of millions of people. The word was derived from the Greek word that meant Sacrifice to the Gods (Steele 7), also called the Shoan which is the Hebrew word for catastrophe (Steele 7). So many countries took place in this 12-year genocide, including, “Germany, Italy, Japan, Romania, Hungary, and Bulgaria, which were also known as the Axis Powers” (Steele 34). But, although there were all those countries they were all part of one larger group called the Nazis, were the ones who were killing all the different denominations of people. (Bachrach 58).
