Well, sad to say that weaning day is upon us. Ella has been a very strong breastfeeder since the day she was born. It’s now time to starting introducing the bottle if only for nap times! I’m very happy to have gotten my hands on the new Playtex Drop-in bottles. Let the weaning commence!
Plaited bottles have been a nesscessity in our home since Owen was born. It was the first brand I used and the only one I’ve ever owned. Owen was a bottle fed baby all the way. Seven years ago we had used the old school bottles. They also worked great at the time. But now many many years later I think it’s incredible how much Playtex has grown upgraded and the changes they’ve made to improving their bottles and feeding time. It’s convenient to have Ella hold the bottle and feed herself laying down or even sitting upright. The new design has optional angling supporting babies to semi-upright feed helping to prevent ear infections.
The twist and click seal makes it literally leak proof. Trust me we’ve tested it! Favourite part since both of my babies suffered from gas. The liner collapses to keep all of that unwanted air out of the milk. Preventing it from entering baby’s belly. Reducing gas and discomfort for our little ones as well as minimizing reflux!
For myself I haven’t found anything that I didn't like about Playtex bottles. They have served the purpose for both of my babies and myself. We’ve been using Playtex for many years and for all stages baby to toddler. I’m very happy with this brand and plan to keep using for the future an will recommend to many family and friends.
