About! I got my color guard flag July 2nd 2017. My flag has a white pole and a blue silk known as the flag part. All of the guard members has the same flag as I do. In our shows we will use different flags that matches the theme of the show.

Colors are often used to describe symbolism they describe the mood of the setting and they can also differentiate the rich from the poor,colors are used in different aspects to describe someone or something. In F.Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby, characters such as Gatsby Nick and Daisy use colors to describe their emotion of the setting, and feelings towards each other. Colors portray each character 's emotions, setting changes, and foreshadowing future events.
Gatsby intensely ponders upon the meaning of this green light, but to the readers, this is an important symbol. At first, the green light signifies wealth and money. Green is evidently the color related to dollar bills. The light indicates that a wealthy person is the owner of that house with the dock. There is also a more important meaning for this green light, which signifies Gatsby’s dream for Daisy.

The Payne “Coat of Arms” shows an eagle behind a blue shield with a red stripe and two red lightning bolts. The eagle represents fierceness and freedom, the fierceness that has coursed down family bloodlines for centuries.
The color of white symbolizes corruption as in the example of Gatsby showing the policeman a white card to not get in trouble. The color of yellow symbolizing wealth as represented with Gatsby’s luxurious car which shows how wealthy he is. And, the color green symbolizes the future as it symbolizes the future and dream because of Gatsby’s wanted dream/future he wanted with Daisy as the green light is at her house. So in conclusion, the symbolism of color in the book is a major part of the novel and there are many other colors in the novel that have symbolism like gray, silver or gold, but these colors stood out the most in The Great
The color green has its own significance in the novel, as it is mainly attached to Gatsby. The color green is usually attached with nature as in rebirth of spring, growth, wealth, hope and envy. Green embodies Gatsby’s dream and the perpetual pursuit of it. The green color is visited by the reader for the very first time through the element of the green light at the end of Daisy’s dock.
