The suitability of observations is that it is one of the best monitoring techniques as you are able to see what the customer is doing and this allows monitoring to be at the highest standard. Observations also show the body language of the customers which shows a lot about what the customers thinking is. The suitability of observations is that the customer doesn’t know that they are being observed which makes the results a lot more accurate as if the customer knew that they were being observed they will most probably act differently which will give inaccurate results. Monitoring repeat customers falls into this as it is similar to observations but it monitors the habits of frequent customers. I personally feel that this is an important monitoring technique as it makes sure that the regular customers are enjoying their experience. The suitability of questionnaires is that it allows people to give their own feedback and their thoughts on the organisation. There are different types of questionnaires; there are open and closed questions which the customer could be given on their questionnaire. Sampling customer feedback allows the organisation to be able to see the customer satisfaction levels and by doing this it allows the staff members to be able to build a relationship with the customers. By doing this it allows the customers to know that any of their concerns will be taken into consideration and any complaints will be dealt with effectively.
