Later, at age twelve, she was reunited with her father, at the same time; she started to show early signs of mental disorders, such as, shifting from euphoria to sadness, and anxiety. The early detachment of a family member could have inferred in a disorganized attachment disorder, increasing acute responses to external stimulus. Which explains her austere, demanding, and erratic behavior. Studies have shown that negative emotions and exaggerate behavior presented in BPD, is directly associated with disorganized attachment during infancy (D. Shemmings & Y. Shemmings, 2011, p. 64). As a result the detachment process suffered by Diana could have facilitated a potential outcome of BPD (Allen, Fonagy, & Bateman, 2008, p. 268). Disorganized attachment, related to parental presence, as well as traumatic experiences in early childhood, is a cogent
