Rene Descartes was a modern philosopher, mathematician, and scientist. He was the one introducing geometry. Descartes doubt every proposition that he possibly could by using the dream and evil conjecture and he still remained certain using skepticism. Explain and evaluate Thomas Hobbes view that all objects are material, including thoughts, feelings and ideas. Thomas Hobbes read Descartes Meditations before he publicized his own book Leviathan. His work along with Descartes and dualism is materialism. He believed that all objects are made of material pieces and all changes reduce to motion, all the perception is reduce to matter of motion. The two distinct substances “creatures” are both mental and physical. The property of being mental and physical must be a property of anything that is created by God. She believed that everything -person, animals, plants, inanimate objects are a substance and cannot be otherwise . She also believed in a God as being all perfect.
