RATIONALE
I wrote about 1984 because I believe that this Text is related to events that occur in our days. Like: disputes of political ideologies, food shortages in some countries, corruption and manipulation on some parts of the world by the great powers, etc. In this way we can deduce that the author of the book tries to predict a future for our society. In the past, many events took place during the first war. Maybe George Orwell would have been influenced with those events to predict a horrible future, A Brave New World.
I chose a guidelines because this is the most directed way in which I could present the oppression that the citizens of the World State had to face. In addition, it has a serious, informative and explicit tone. It includes an explicit content and an informal, due that is directed to an adults audience.
